Instructions:

To use Soltura™, all you need is a computer with speakers, a microphone, and internet access.

First time users need to follow these simple steps in order to become an active Soltura™ user:

Install

1 :: Latest version of Java™ at www.java.com

2 :: Latest version of Skype™ at www.skype.com

3 :: Install Soltura™ here

1 :: Log into Soltura™ with your email address and password.

2 :: Inside the Skype™ window, grant permission for Java™ and Soltura™ to access Skype™.

Make a Call

1 :: Call Skype's"Sound Test Service" to make sure that your software is working properly.

2 :: After your audio test ends, select the local destination folder to save your newly recorded file.

3 :: Once your upload is complete, you are an active Soltura™ user.

*Be sure not to close Soltura™ until it finishes uploading your call to the website!

4 :: Once you are an active user, you must schedule your conversations based on your class requirements. To change your conversation schedule, just log into www.solturalanguages.com. Make sure you schedule the right number of conversations, or you may be subject to the loss of Soltura™ credits and/or the lowering of your class grade.

If problems arise, close and restart both Skype™ and Soltura™ completely.
